Roland is a seasoned executive with 30+ years of experience in managing companies and in leading operational and business development projects.
His 30+ years experience comprises consulting work with McKinsey, Strategic Decisions Group and Accelerate Business Consulting, management roles as Managing Director of Sartorius Separation Engineering, as CFO of SUSE Linux AG, and as investment manager at venture capital firms, as well as various turnaround and business development projects as interim manager or project leader.
His recent focus is on developing business plans and helping clients financing their projects. He uses his experience to scrutinise and improve business models, using his skills in both financial modelling and in designing marketing and sales strategies.
Roland holds an MBA from London Business School and a management degree from Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany.
His personal interests include hiking and gardening, playing the guitar and cooking for his family.
